When to book
Any time of year — degreaser works to spec down to about 5°C; fresh spills lift far more easily than old ones, so don't wait.
Every additional summer, the oil migrates deeper into the block — beyond about 12 months, full removal drops from realistic to 'best we can lift is 80%'.
Keeping it fixed
Sort the underlying leak first, park with a drip tray for a fortnight after cleaning, and seal the parking footprint if the drive is block paving.
